Coaching for Transformation

My ultimate goal as a career and personal coach is to help my clients transform the way they participate in their lives, so that they can create more joy, gratitude, and purpose for themselves.

I coach for transformation because I believe in the grounding principles of positive psychology. I believe in the scientific research that shows that every human is capable of rewiring their brain—that negative habits can be eliminated when positive habits are formed. I believe when you understand your top character strengths, you have increased motivation, improved performance, and more satisfaction in your daily life.

What is positive psychology?

The University of Pennsylvania Positive Psychology Center defines the term this way: “Positive psychology is the scientific study of the strengths and virtues that enable individuals and communities to thrive. The field is founded on the belief that people want to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, to cultivate what is best within themselves, and to enhance their experiences of love, work, and play.”

Here are three examples of how I use the principles of positive psychology to help my clients transform their lives:

Bottom line: When you transform the way you think about your life, you transform the way you participate in your life.
